Troubleshooting Dermi Atlas Professional Deployment Issues

Installation Fails or Times Out

Symptom: Setup stalls or fails during download.

Solutions:

1. Internet: Ensure a stable connection. Wired Ethernet is preferred.
2. VPN: Disable VPNs during installation as they can block Docker downloads.
3. Retry: Close and reopen Dermi Atlas Manager to restart the wizard.
4. Disk Space: Verify at least 20GB is free.

Containers Fail to Start

Symptom: The Container Status card on the Atlas Status page in Dermi Atlas Manager shows one or more containers as not running (for example status "stopped" or "error", or a health value other than "healthy").

Solutions:

1. Restart: Click Restart in the Atlas Control card.
2. Resources: The enforced minimum is 4GB system RAM. On Docker Desktop, allocate at least 4GB to Docker, and more if the host has spare capacity. 6GB or more is a general guideline rather than a Dermi Atlas Professional requirement.
3. Ports: Restarting Dermi Atlas Professional triggers automatic port conflict resolution if ports are blocked. Port resolution also reconfigures OS firewall rules, which requires administrator privileges to apply; the resulting access ports are then shown on the Atlas Access card.
4. Logs: Check the Docker container logs for specific error messages (via Docker Desktop, or with docker logs <container> or docker compose logs when using Docker Engine).
