Installing SSL Certificates on macOS

To ensure secure HTTPS access to Dermi Atlas Professional on macOS, you must install the generated SSL certificate and configure your system to trust it. Follow the steps below using Keychain Access.

1. Double-click the downloaded .crt file.
2. Keychain Access should open. If prompted, add the certificate to the System keychain.
3. In Keychain Access, locate the Dermi Atlas Professional certificate.
4. Double-click the certificate to open its properties.
5. Expand the Trust section.
6. Change When using this certificate to Always Trust.
7. Close the window and enter your administrator password to save changes.
8. Restart your browser.

Alternative (Terminal)

If you prefer the command line, you can add the certificate to the system trust store using the following command:

sudo security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k /Library/Keychains/System.keychain /path/to/certificate.crt

Verification

Navigate to the HTTPS URL of your Dermi Atlas Professional instance (e.g., https://192.168.1.100:15045). The browser should now load the page without security warnings and display a padlock icon.
