Installing Dermi Atlas Manager on macOS

System Requirements

• macOS 14 Sonoma or later
• Administrator privileges
• Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel processor

Installation Steps

1. Locate the downloaded .dmg disk image.
2. Double-click the file to mount it.
3. Drag the Dermi Atlas Manager icon to the Applications folder.
4. Wait for the copy to complete.
5. Eject the disk image.

Gatekeeper and Security Settings

When you first launch Dermi Atlas Manager, macOS Gatekeeper may prevent it from opening because it was downloaded from the internet.

To allow the application:

1. Open System Settings.
2. Navigate to Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll down to the Security section.
4. Look for the message about Dermi Atlas Manager being blocked and click Open Anyway.
5. Enter your administrator password and click Open in the confirmation dialog.

Alternative: Right-click the application in Finder, select Open, and then click Open in the dialog.

Granting Required Permissions

During operation, Dermi Atlas Manager may request permissions:

• Files and Folders: Allow this to save configuration and backup files.
• Network Access: Allow this for LAN communication and license verification.
