Installing Dermi Atlas Manager on macOS

Requirements

• macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
• A Mac with Apple silicon. Intel Macs are not supported.
• A macOS account with administrator rights.
• Docker Desktop, needed from the Requirements step of the Atlas installation onward. See Installing Docker for Dermi Atlas Professional.

Dermi Atlas Manager for macOS is signed by Dermi Inc. and notarized by Apple.

Installation Steps

1. Download the macOS disk image from the Downloads page in Dermi Portal, as described in Installing Dermi Atlas Manager.
2. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to open it.
3. Drag the Dermi Atlas Manager icon to the Applications folder.
4. Eject the disk image.
5. Open Dermi Atlas Manager from the Applications folder or Launchpad. If macOS asks to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet, select Open.

No firewall change is needed for Atlas Manager itself. When the macOS firewall blocks all incoming connections, Docker Desktop needs an exception; see macOS Firewall Configuration for Dermi Atlas Professional.

"Application Is Damaged and Cannot Be Opened"

This message means the download is incomplete or damaged. Delete the copy in Applications, download the installer again from Dermi Portal, and repeat the steps above.
