System Requirements
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- Administrator privileges
- Apple Silicon processor (M-series)
- Docker Desktop, required to deploy and run Dermi Atlas Professional after installing the Manager. The Manager itself installs and launches without Docker, and its requirements check guides through installing Docker Desktop during the install flow.
Installation Steps
- Locate the downloaded
.dmg disk image.
- Double-click the file to mount it.
- Drag the Dermi Atlas Manager icon to the Applications folder.
- Wait for the copy to complete.
- Eject the disk image.
Gatekeeper and Security Settings
Dermi Atlas Manager is signed with a Developer ID Application certificate and notarized by Apple, so builds should open normally when double-clicked. No Gatekeeper workaround is needed for a properly distributed build.
Granting Required Permissions
During operation, Dermi Atlas Manager may request permissions:
- Files and Folders: macOS may show this prompt only when selecting or saving files in protected locations such as Downloads or Documents. Allow it when it appears. Routine configuration and backup storage in the application data directory does not trigger this prompt.
- Firewall: macOS may show a firewall dialog asking whether to allow incoming connections for local network communication and license verification. Allow it when it appears.
Troubleshooting
"Application is damaged and can't be opened"
The builds are signed and notarized, and should not produce this error. It usually indicates a corrupted download, so re-download Dermi Atlas Manager from the Dermi Portal.
