Installing Dermi Atlas Manager

Overview

Dermi Atlas Manager is the desktop application that deploys and manages a Dermi Atlas Professional installation. This article covers the general installation process.

Before proceeding, ensure the following are in place:

• Created a Dermi Cloud Services account at portal.dermi.ai
• Started a free trial or purchased a subscription
• Generated a license key in Dermi Portal

Downloading Dermi Atlas Manager

1. Sign in to Dermi Portal with the account credentials.
2. Navigate to the Overview tab.
3. Locate the Dermi Atlas Manager download section.
4. Select the download for the host operating system:
   • Windows: .msi installer
   • macOS: .dmg disk image
   • Linux: .deb package

Launching Dermi Atlas Manager

After installation, launch Dermi Atlas Manager:

• Windows: Double-click the desktop shortcut or find it in the Start menu.
• macOS: Open it from the Applications folder or Launchpad.
• Linux: Launch from the applications menu or run from the terminal.

On first launch, Dermi Atlas Manager performs an automatic initial setup process. Wait for this process to complete.

Entering the License Key

After initial setup, a prompt requests the license key.

1. Open Dermi Portal in a web browser.
2. Navigate to the Overview tab.
3. In the license section, copy the generated license key.
4. Return to Dermi Atlas Manager and paste the key into the input field. The license key must be the full 20-character key.
5. Accept the End User License Agreement by selecting the agreement checkbox.
6. Select Activate License to validate.

Dermi Atlas Manager connects to Dermi's license server to verify the key. This requires an active internet connection.

Verifying Successful Installation

A successful installation is confirmed when:

1. The application launches without errors.
2. The initial setup process completes.
3. The license key is accepted and validated.
4. Dermi Atlas Manager proceeds to the Requirements step of the deployment wizard.
