Installing Dermi Atlas Manager

Dermi Atlas Manager is the desktop application that installs and runs Dermi Atlas Professional on the host computer. Before installing it:

• Create a Dermi Cloud Services account at portal.dermi.ai and start the free trial or a subscription.
• Generate a license key in Dermi Portal.
• Check the computer against the System Requirements.

Downloading Dermi Atlas Manager

1. Sign in to Dermi Portal.
2. Open the Downloads page.
3. Select Download next to the host operating system: Windows (.msi installer), macOS (.dmg disk image), or Linux (.deb package).

Installing on the Host Computer

The installation steps differ by operating system:

• Installing Dermi Atlas Manager on Windows
• Installing Dermi Atlas Manager on macOS
• Installing Dermi Atlas Manager on Linux

Atlas Manager installs and opens without Docker. Docker is needed from the Requirements step onward; see Installing Docker for Dermi Atlas Professional.

First Launch

On first launch, Atlas Manager shows "Verifying Atlas Manager registration..." while it registers with Dermi. This needs an internet connection; without one, registration resumes once the computer is online. The Atlas Installation wizard then opens on the License step.

Only one Atlas Manager window runs at a time. Opening the application again brings the existing window forward.

Activating the License

1. In Dermi Portal, open the Overview page and select the copy control (titled "Copy full license key") on the license card.
2. In Atlas Manager, paste the full 20-character key.
3. Select the checkbox to accept the End User License Agreement.
4. Select Activate License. Activation needs an internet connection.

The license status reads License Active and the wizard moves to the Requirements step. A license key is active on one Atlas deployment at a time.
