Dermi Atlas 26.2.1 Release Notes

Dermi Atlas version 26.2.1 is now available, introducing manual reference selection for image comparisons, an effective date field for images, improved drag-and-drop indicators, and enhanced comparison reliability for Dermi Atlas Professional.

Manual Reference Selection

Manual reference selection has been added for split and overlay comparisons. The reference image used for alignment can now be chosen directly instead of being automatically assigned based on capture date. Alignment results are cached per reference image, enabling instant switching between different reference images after the first alignment.

Effective Date

An effective date field has been introduced for images. Images can now be assigned a custom effective date, allowing manual control over how images are sorted and grouped in the image pool. The original capture date is preserved separately and displayed in Image Properties alongside the effective date. New date groups created by an effective date change are automatically expanded so images remain visible after reassignment.

Drag-and-Drop Improvements

Drag-and-drop upload indicators have been improved with a unified overlay that appears when dragging files over the image pool or individual image cards. Upload-restricted areas now display a clear restriction indicator during drag, providing immediate feedback on where files can and cannot be dropped.

Comparison and Sync Reliability

Comparison reliability has been improved when images are rotated. Rotating an image now automatically invalidates any stale alignment data for comparison groups that include that image. Opening a comparison is blocked while any of its images are mid-rotation, preventing misaligned results.

Additional Improvements

Minor visual and alignment improvements have been applied across the interface, along with general bug fixes and stability improvements.

Compatibility

Dermi Atlas Manager has been updated for compatibility with Dermi Atlas Professional 26.2.1. General stability improvements have been applied.

Availability

Dermi Atlas 26.2.1 is available now. Existing installations can be updated through Dermi Atlas Manager.
