Detailed hardware specifications and software dependencies for Dermi Atlas, including operating system versions, memory, storage, and Docker requirements.
Dermi Atlas Manager and Dermi Atlas Professional support the following operating systems:
Both Intel (x64) and Apple Silicon (ARM64) processors are supported.
The minimum requirement ensures basic functionality, but additional memory improves performance. Dermi Atlas Professional runs alongside Docker containers, which consume memory continuously while the system is active. If the host computer is used for other tasks (like EMR software or front-desk operations), 16GB is strongly recommended.
The minimum requirement covers the initial installation of Dermi Atlas Manager, Dermi Atlas Professional, and Docker components. However, storage usage grows over time as you upload patient photographs and create system backups.

Supported Docker versions:
We recommend Docker Desktop for most users because it provides a graphical interface for managing resources and simplified installation.
Docker requires dedicated system resources to run Dermi Atlas Professional effectively. You must configure these settings in Docker Desktop under Settings > Resources.
Important: Resources allocated to Docker are reserved and not available for other applications on the host computer. Balance Docker's allocation against your other needs.
To configure resource allocation:
Dermi Atlas Manager automatically verifies that your system meets all requirements during initial setup. The verification process checks:
If any requirement is not met, Dermi Atlas Manager provides specific instructions for resolving the issue before proceeding with installation.
