Dermi products use two distinct types of accounts. Understanding the difference between the Dermi Cloud Services Account and the Local Dermi Atlas Professional Account is important. These systems are independent, and creating one does not automatically create the other.
The Dermi Cloud Services account is created at portal.dermi.ai.
Used for:
This account lives on Dermi's cloud servers. It is required to purchase the software and does not contain any patient data.
Local accounts are created directly on the Dermi Atlas Professional installation (the web application running on the local server).
Used for:
These accounts exist only on local infrastructure. They are not stored on Dermi's servers.

The same email address can be used for both accounts. Since the systems are separate, this does not cause a conflict. Similarly, the same email address can be used across multiple different Dermi Atlas Professional installations (e.g., at different clinic sites), as each installation maintains its own user database.
