Denys Breslavets stands as the principal architect of the Dermi platform. With expertise in machine learning, neural networks, and algorithm design, he has been the driving force behind both the conceptualization and actualization of Dermi's systems, resulting in the creation of state-of-the-art dermatological assessment tools.
A hallmark of Denys's work is the foundational architecture and development of Dermi. He conceptualized the platform, meticulously architected the backend, frontends, and machine vision components, then executed their coding from the ground up. This full-spectrum involvement, from ideation to implementation, is a testament to his expertise and dedication. Coupled with his innovative skin analysis techniques and the adept integration of multiple neural networks, the platform achieves an unparalleled precision in dermatological evaluations.
Beyond the core system and algorithms, Denys has also shaped Dermi's user interface, prioritizing user-centric design while ensuring the platform retains its technical prowess. His dedication extends to continually refining Dermi, aligning it with the evolving technological landscape and the demanding standards of the medical domain.
Dr. Maksym Breslavets has undergone comprehensive training in Dermatology, with credentials from both North American and European institutions. He earned his medical degree and subsequently pursued a Ph.D. from the Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. His doctoral research centered on the spectral analysis of induced skin auto-oscillations, aiming to improve the diagnostic process for disease severity in morphea patients.
Upon completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Breslavets undertook a residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto. He further secured board certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Serving as the Medical Director and the Founder of the Centre for Medical and Surgical Dermatology, Dr. Breslavets has consistently demonstrated his dedication to the highest standards in the field.
In his current role, Dr. Breslavets spearheads the creation of state-of-the-art AI tools. These tools are designed to bolster diagnostic precision and facilitate consistent monitoring of dermatological conditions. His responsibilities encompass numerous research components of the platform, from data collection and annotation to the empirical evaluation of medical imaging tools within a clinical environment. Through adept management of interdisciplinary teams comprising researchers and medical professionals, Dr. Maksym Breslavets continues to push the boundaries of technological advancements in dermatology.
